Conner, Opal Nester

Opal Nester Conner, 89 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nina and Erby Stanley, husbands, Corby Nester and Frank D. Conner.

She is survived by her sons, Maynard Nester (Sue), Howard Nester (Donna); daughter, Joy Turman (Joe); step-daughter, Susan Nunn; grandchildren, Paul Turman (Cindy), Sandi Cesaro (Matt), Cristy Boyd (Allen), Elizabeth Nester, Diana Nester; great grandchildren, Joseph Turman, Katlyn Boyd, Tyler Cesaro, Allison Boyd, Corby Boyd; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Green Mt. Baptist Church with Pastor Nathan Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in the Burnette Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6PM-8PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Maberry Funeral Home.
