Conner, Margie Akers
Margie Akers Conner, age 90, of Christiansburg, Va. died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at her home. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Albert B. Conner; son, Albert “Lee” Conner; parents, Golden Davis and Mellie Lee Duncan Akers; brothers, Golden “Kenneth” Akers and Willard “Russell” Akers; nephew, George “Davis” Akers. She attended Bible Holiness Church, Christiansburg, Va.
She is survived by her children, Tony Conner, Mark (Sue) Conner, Timothy (Martha) Conner, Sandra Conner and Freda Conner; sister and brother-in-law, Dott and David Hale and family; and sister -in-law, Berniece Akers; grandchildren, Derek (Tracy) Conner, Jonathon (Pam) Conner, Anthony Conner, Darell (Amanda) Conner, Jessica (Travis) Harris, Rebecca (Heath) Burnett, Winsten (Samantha) Conner, Clayton Conner, Brittany Conner (Brian), Joseph (Leah) Conner, Troy Harris (Miranda); great-grandchildren, Ashlea, Emilea, Kenny, Makayla, Lauren, Savannah, Remington, Hunter, Noah, Liam, Cole, Ayla, Adaleigh, McKenzie, Dakotah, Conner, Walker, and Elena; other family, Diane Scott and Ricky Harris.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 13, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Bible Holiness Church, with the Rev. Dwayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until the time of the service, at Bible Holiness Church.

I’m so sorry to hear about miss.conner.what a very special lady.she will be greatly missed by me.she has the greatest heart of a person that I have ever known..she’s was so compassionate so under standing and she would give you the shirt off her back.and Tim conner, and mark conner, are just like there mom too.you three are truly the greatest people I have ever known in my life, and I’m proud, and happy, and I have told alot of people how sweet you all are.and I’m proud to tell the hole world this.may she rest in peace I’m truly sorry.i missed her funeral please forgive me..but I have been really sick too.buti wanted to tell you all..I’m so so sorry.if you all need anything at all..my address is 2381 peppers ferry road n.w. c.burg v.a. please get ahold of me Kathy Yates trump…
