Conley, Theresa Carlene

Theresa C. Conley, 58, of Peterstown passed away Thursday January 19, 2017 at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, VA. Born March 5, 1958 at Pearisburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Carley Gene Pennington and Betty Jo Thompson Pennington McClaugherty.

Theresa was a homemaker and had great concern for the success for our local food banks.

Theresa is survived by her companion, Troy Stafford; two daughters, Shelly Boggess and husband Billy of Peterstown, WV, and Kristan Welton and husband Joey of Narrows, VA; two sons, Ricky Conley and wife Libby of Narrows, VA, and Elijah Stafford of Peterstown, WV; one brother, Keith Pennington and companion June Judy of Narrows, VA; one sister, Regina Short and husband Howard of Welch, WV; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 5:00pm Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Spencer officiating. There will a time of fellowship for family and friends from 3:00pm until time of service.

It is the wishes of the family, as it would have been for Theresa, that any donations of sympathy, friends are asked to bring food items for the local food banks, or monetary contributions used to purchase food for the food banks, instead of flowers.
