Conley, Joseph Lee

Joseph Lee Conley, 56 of Pearisburg, formerly of Narrows passed away Sunday, February 19th, 2017.

He was born in Pearisburg on August 21st, 1960, and was the son of the late Joseph Wiley (Junior) and Frances Cora Thorne Conley; a son, Lee Conley; two brothers, Buddy Allen Conley and Wesley Prescott Conley; and a nephew, Marty Wayne Nance.

Left to cherish his memory are a son, Daniel Scott Conley and fiancée Courtney Geck; former wife, Lynne Conley of Pearisburg; two brothers, Donnie Conley of Bozoo, West Virginia, Jimmy Conley of Newport; two sisters, Rosemary Monaghan Nance and husband Johnny of Ballard, West Virginia, and Gloria Conley Lafon and husband Tony of Elliston; two nephews, Tony W. Lafon and wife Tresha, and Prescott Conley and wife Destiny; three nieces, Amanda Lafon and husband Joseph Martin, Rheannon Dudding and husband Joey, and Lauren Conley; six great nephews, William Owen Lafon, Dillon Dudding, Nathan Dudding, Adden Guthrie, Wayne Nance, and Dusty Nance; and three great nieces, Marissia Dudding, Ashton Grace Lafon, and Natalie Fizer.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Chapel Saturday from 1 PM until just prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities; 2224 South Jefferson Street; Roanoke, VA 24014.
