Conley, Elizabeth Faye

Elizabeth Fay Burton Conley, 66, of Narrows, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2010, at her home on Wolf Creek. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on July 22, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Allen Mason and Martha Bruce Hale Burton. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Hampton Burton; and two sisters, Mary Carroll and Joyce French. She dearly loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews who she called her kids. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, John T. Conley, of Narrows; two brothers, James Mason Burton, of Pearisburg, and William Bradley Burton and wife, Debbie, of Narrows; a sister, Brenda Burton Clark, of Narrows; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many special friends. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at The King’s Way Church, located on Route 61 in the Wolf Creek Community of Giles County, with Pastor Tony Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Burton Cemetery at Cedar Grove. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows is serving the Conley family.
