Compton, Sidney Claycomb

Sidney Claycomb Compton, 79, of Christiansburg passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was born in Morenic, AZ on May 11, 1943 to the late Ernest and Belva Claycomb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kinnie G. Compton.

She is survived by her children; son, Donald Bentley; daughter, Krystal Compton; son and daughter in law, Ernest and Rachel Compton; grandchildren; Derek and Hanna Bentley, Noah Compton, Colt and Gunner Compton. Also left to mourn her loss are step-children and families of Howard Compton and Sandra Zalanka.

She is also survived by three loving siblings; Phyllis Sells, Melvin Ney II, and Michelle Poppa, all of Arizona, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Although Sidney was a reserved woman, she loved her grandchildren dearly as they brought sunshine and joy to her days. She was quiet and strong and will be remembered and loved by many.

Services will be private.
