Compton, Myrtle Cockram

Myrtle Christine Compton, 90, of Floyd went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Compton; brothers, Raymond, Eugene, Randolph, and Tommy; and Sister Linda Dickerson.

Myrtle is survived by two sons, Danny Compton (Hilda), Bobby Compton, Sr.; grandchildren, B.J. Compton (Cherie), Ashley Rennie (T.J.); great-grandchild, Miller Rennie; brothers and sisters-in-law, Welby and Patsy Cockram, Freeman and Helen Cockram, Lorene Powers, Mary Lee Cockram, Verda Mae Thompson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Corine and Clyde Belcher, Betty Joyce and Ben Hawkes, Elaine and Randel Harris, Loretta and Carlos Smith, Roger Dickerson.

A Graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Monday September 20,2021 at Lee Cemetery Tuggles Gap with Pastor Brian Cockram officiating.
