Comer, William Allen

William Allen Comer, 62 of Pearisburg, VA passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Christiansburg, VA. Born April 2, 1951 at Adairs Run, WV he was the son of the late Raymond Hedrick and Lenora Kathleen Amos Comer.

Bill was a member of the Glen Lyn Church of Christ and had worked as a Supervisor at Food Lion. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, William Allen Comer Jr., brother, Charles Comer and infant sister Elizabeth Ann Comer.

Survivors include his loving, devoted wife of 44 years, Patricia Diane Wimmer Comer, one son, Christopher Allen Comer and wife Kim of Fairlawn, VA, two brothers, Raymond Comer Jr. and wife Geneva of Maryland and Jimmy Comer and wife Janet of Clemons, NC, four sisters, Nancy Long of Adairs Run, WV, Linda Taylor of Summersville, WV, Betty Bennett and husband Phillip of Dublin, VA, Susie Wilson and husband Rick of Adairs Run, WV, six grandchildren, Destiny, Moriah, Cayden, Kianna, Dominic and Matthias, several nieces and nephews.
