Collins, Winters Dawn Cox

Winters Dawn Cox Collins, 77, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at her home in Radford surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman A. Collins, parents, Lonnie and Blanche Cox, brother, Lonnie Floyd Cox, Jr., and great granddaughter, Brooklyn Graves. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dana Collins and Dean Collins; daughters, Gale Collins and Sharon Ross, all of Radford; grandchildren Alicia Lytton Grace and husband Mike, Kristen Lytton Graves and husband Donnie, Amber Ross, Sierra Ross and Kailyn Stein; and brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Larry and Phyllis Cox of Pulaski. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Central United Methodist Church in Radford with Rev. Don Shelor officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Central United Methodist Church, 803 Wadsworth St., Radford, VA 24141 or to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, Va 24018 The Collins family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
