Collins, Vanessa McCoy

Vanessa McCoy Collins, age 63, of Riner died, Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at her home. She was born in Christiansburg, Va. on December 22, 1958 to the late Russell Owen and Loraine Caldwell McCoy. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Owen McCoy, a niece, Jessica Collins, mother-in-law, Lorene Collins.

She is survived by her husband, Dewey (Kenny) Collins, sons, Russell Collins, Chad Collins, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Collins, Michael Collins, brother, Marvin McCoy, sisters and brother-in-law, Darlene and Joe Wood, Susan Carter, numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be conducted Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:30 pm in the McCoy Family Cemetery with the Pastor Neal Turner officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-2:00 pm Sunday at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
