Collins, Shelly Irdinia

Shelley Irdinia Collins, 18, of Christiansburg, died Friday, September 21, 2007. She was born in Winston-Salem, N.C. on February 15, 1989. She was our beloved angel, now she is gone home.

She left behind a little boy named Trevor Thomas whose father is Heath Thomas, son of Ricky and Lois Thomas; her mother, Sally Corbin and stepfather Chris Corbin; two sisters, Amanda and Misty Collins; MawMaw Shirley Sheppard, PapPaw Roy Sheppard; three uncles, Roy Jr., Phillip and Oscar Sheppard; one aunt, Alice and Sammy Altizer; eight cousins, Shannon, Jamie, Angel, Jennifer, Jessica, Steven, Preston, and Kayla; dear friends, Joanie and LeeAnn Barker and Darrel, Matt Ellett.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 12 noon in the Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jerry Shepherd and the Rev. Jube Burk officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church, 910 Montgomery Street, Christiansburg. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
