Coleman, Marie Davis

Marie Davis Coleman, 72, of Dublin, died on Thursday, August 23, 2007 in the New River Valley Medical Center.

Born in Wythe County on August 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Harold Burl and Clara Spencer Davis. Mrs. Coleman was a retired employee of RAAP with 25 years of service and a member of the Bobwhite Blvd. Church of God, Pulaski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Coleman. Surviving are her stepdaughter and husband, Cheryl and Freddie Ashworth; son and wife, Randall and Tina Stillwell; brother and wife, Melvin and Jewell Davis; step grandchildren, Coleman Ashworth and Hannah Ashworth; nephews, Larry and Russell Davis; and very special cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Bobwhite Blvd. Church of God with the Rev. John Briggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
