Clyburn, Diana Smith

Diana May Clyburn (Smith), age 60, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at her home. She was born on November 13, 1960, in Newton, NJ. She came to West Virginia as a young girl, then moved to Virginia about 8 years ago.

She worked at the Behavioral Health Pavilion in Bluefield, WV. She was beloved by her co-workers and she enjoyed gifting them with cakes for their birthdays and special occasions. Her main hobby was genealogy, but she also loved making cakes and going to New Jersey to visit family.

The memory of Diana remains with her children, Shannon, Robbie, and Melanie Pyne; her grandchildren, Colton Pyne, Hunter, Shyanne, Lakyn, and Maci Plumley, Chase Mullins, and Hannah Pyne; and extended family and friends who hold her close to their hearts.

To respect and fulfill Diana’s wishes, she will be cremated and put to rest at her favorite place in New Jersey. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Benny Cozort officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
