amem_deer-feeding.jpgJames Lewis (Jimmy) Clower, 65, of Shawsville, died suddenly on Monday, November 20, 2006 while deer hunting.

Jimmy was an avid hunter and a great friend to many. Jimmy was a Veteran having proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was retired from Roanoke Steel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Blondine Clower.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 41 years, Betty and his two children, Wayne and Dana Clower; one sister, Opal Gearhart and her husband, Donald and one very special hunting partner, Wyatt Gearhart. Jimmy was extremely loved by his family and a host of wonderful friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
