Clower, Geraldine Sue

Geraldine Sue Clower, 68, of Pilot, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Pilot, and a long time employee of Roses Department Store in Christiansburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harless and Reba Clower. She is survived by her sister, Dianne (Wendell) Light; her brother, Harless (Lola) Clower; nieces, Michelle (Steve) Lyons, and Amanda (Steve) Haynes; nephews, Brian (Teresa) Light, and Nathan Clower; and greatnieces and nephews, Zach, Brittany, Rylee, Kendall, Robert, and Brandon also survive.

The family wishes to thank Skyline Nursing and Rehab for the caring of Geraldine for the past seven years. Thanks also to Carilion New River Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 24, 2010, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with ministers Larry Meadors and Leon Alley officiating. Burial will follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd.
