Cline, Johnny Eugene

Johnny Eugene Cline, 63, of Shawsville, went to be with his Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Johnny was born on October 5, 1952. He was preceded in death by his father, Delmer Eugene ‘Chick’ Cline; and nephew, Steven Todd Cline.

He leaves behind his mother, Mary Basham Cline of Shawsville; daughter, Tammy C. Trussler and her husband John of Radford; grandchildren; brother, Steven W. and Tina B. Cline of Montvale; sister, Donna C. Mellichamp of Pennsylvania; wife, Essie Gail Cline of Pearisburg; nieces, Monacca and Thomas Pitts of Blairsville, PA, Hallie J. and Evan Iczkowski of Montvale, VA, Christina and Dan Caffarelli of Bridgeville, PA; nephew, Joseph Todd Mellichamp of Blacksburg, VA; and many more extended family members too numerous to mention but dearly loved.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, from noon to 1 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, with the Funeral Service to be held at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Rev. John Collins of Seneca Baptist Church will officiate the Service. Interment will follow in Shawsville Congregational Holiness Cemetery.
