Claytor, Margaret Virginia Steger

Mrs. Margaret Virginia Steger Claytor, of Radford, Va., departed this life during the late evening of Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Montgomery County Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edgar L. Claytor, the founder of Claytor Funeral Home formerly of Radford, Va. Mrs. Claytor leaves to cherish her memory, her son, William Vernon Lewis and wife, Paulette E. Lewis, of Pembroke, Va.; three sisters, Jean Tinner, Peggy (Arthur) Meadows, all of Pulaski, Va., and Harrietta Saunders, of Radford, Va.; seven stepchildren, Michael (Sandra) Claytor, of Dublin, Va., Harold (Gladys) Claytor, Vonetta Claytor, and Renee Claytor, all of North Carolina, Gaye (Dwight) Hubbard and Janet Miller, of California, and Randy Claytor, of Radford, Va.; grandson, Jahmah Tael Lewis, of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Homegoing services will be held Friday, January 22, 2010, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 910 West Rock Road, Radford, Va. The viewing will be held at noon with the funeral beginning 1 p.m. Pastor Eric T. Ramey will be presiding and the Reverend Jenene Saunders Lewis will be the eulogist.
