Michael “Mike” Frazier Clark, age 71, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Stonerise Lindside in Lindside, WV. Born June 19, 1950, he was the son of the late Hobert and Mabel Clark of Ballard, WV.

Mike was a graduate of Peterstown High School Class of 1968. He achieved an Associate Degree in Business from Bluefield WV Business College in 1970. Growing up, Mike enjoyed fishing, but his greatest passion was reading. He would read Encyclopedias and World Books, as he loved studying the history of the world. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Ballard, WV. Due to health reasons, Mike chose to live at Stonerise Lindside, which was his residence for over 21 years. He loved the Lord, his family, and his friends at Stonerise Lindside.

Mike is survived by his brother, David “Phil” Clark and wife Rebecca of Ballard, WV; and he was an uncle to David L. Clark of Ballard, WV, and Kimberly Clark of Cleveland, NC. Also surviving are many cousins, special long-time friends, Randy Broyles of Cashmere, WV, and David Cox of Lindside, WV; and a special thanks to all the staff, nurses, cafeteria workers, activity directors, janitorial workers and volunteers at Stonerise Lindside.

A visitation to celebrate Mike’s life will be held from 12:00PM until 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV. A graveside service will follow at approximately 2:30PM at the Clark Family Cemetery in Wolf Creek, Bland County, VA, with Pastor Tim Sanderson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mike’s name to the Stonerise Lindside Activity Fund (10797 Seneca Trail South, Lindside, WV 24951).
