It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved son and brother, Jarrod Scott Clark, 33, of Pearisburg, VA, He was born on August 11, 1983, and departed this life on May 31, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, JoAnn Darnell, Uncle Scott Darnell, Paternal grandfather Randall Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted parents Larry and Judy Darnell Clark of Pearisburg, VA; his brother and sister-in-law Brad and April Clark and two special nieces Morgan and Aniston all of Ripplemead, VA; his paternal grandmother Harriett Clark of Pearisburg; and many other special family members too numerous to name.

Jarrod attended Giles High School, and served in the United States Navy as an Avionics Technician. He was a licensed contractor, skilled electrician, plumber, and craftsman, currently working alongside his father and brother constructing their new home.

Jarrod was a sweet, kind, and gentle soul with a passion for fishing, loving the river and the creek where he grew up, Big Stony.

“We feel a warmth around us like your presence is near and we close our eyes to see your face when you were here. We will miss you greatly but know we will see you again someday; we will remember you smiling as you catch your next fish. We love you Jarrod, rest peacefully”….from your loving family.

To honor Jarrod’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. At a later date to be announced there will be a celebration of his life and memory.
