Harriett Conley Clark, 86, of Pearisburg, VA, departed this life suddenly, Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at her home. Born September 15, 1933, in Narrows, VA, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie Johnston Conley.

Harriett was a hard worker, putting in many years at the Celanese, cooking meals for the residents of the McArthur House and for her family. She also greeted customers at Wal-Mart, always with a smile. She never met a stranger and could talk up a storm. She enjoyed playing the piano, gospel music (especially Alan Jackson), and biscuits and gravy from Hardees. She celebrated her faith, in attending East Chapel Community Church in Wolf Creek. She was a special lady, always put together with great hair. She will be sadly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Randall Clark; Brothers, Frank Conley, and Garland Conley; sisters, Ronnie French, Larue Brown, and Arlene Riddle; and grandson, Jarrod Scott Clark.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Don Clark (Barbara), Larry Clark (Judy), Randy Clark (Anita); granddaughters, Sarah Aardema and Jessica Clark; grandsons, Brad Clark and Casey Clark; great-grandchildren, Tripp, Morgan, Aniston, Sam, Raigen, Hayden, and Adalie; many special nieces, nephews, and a special friend and neighbor, Tiny Martin.

There will be a graveside service held Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 12:00 PM in the Conley Cemetery in Narrows, VA with Eddie Kendall officiating. Online condolences and distant hugs may be sent to the family by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
