Clark, Charlene Sally

Charlene “Sally” Clark, 90, of Mountainside Drive in Narrows, VA, departed this life Friday morning, June 7, 2019 in the care of Heritage Hall in Rich Creek, VA. Born in Ohio on April 12, 1929 she was a daughter of the late William Riley and Ada Anna Robertson Clark.

She was the beloved matriarch of a large family who looked up to her. Sally was a beloved and devoted member of the family of faith at Bethel Chapel in Clendennin.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Clarence (Walt), Charles (Bill), Kenneth, William, Cliffford, Eugene, John, Guy, and Sherman Clark and her sisters Aleen Gerren, Anna Mae Akers, and Virginia Robertson.

She leaves to cherish her memory numerous neices and nephews; a special nephew and his wife who were her devoted caregivers, Darrell and Debbie Akers of Narrows, and her best church buddy and friend Liz Johnson.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 pm in Bethel Chapel, Clendennin Road, Narrows with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery in Pulaski.
