Clark, Brenda Burton

Brenda Burton Clark, 58, of Narrows, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at her home. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on June 8, 1954, and was the daughter of the late Allen Mason and Martha Hale Burton.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Everette Clark; three sisters, Elizabeth Faye Conley, Joyce French and Mary Sue Carroll; and a brother, Hampton Burton.

She is survived by two brothers, James Burton, of Pearisburg, William (Brad) Burton and wife, Debbie, of Narrows; two stepdaughters, Anita Ratcliffe, of Pearisburg, and Tina Conley and husband, Joe, of Narrows; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends, including a special brother-in-law, John Conley.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Tony Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
