amem_us-armyBoyd Mac (B.M.) Chumbley, Jr., 99, of Draper, died Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Commonwealth Assisted Living Center in Fairlawn. He was born on May 10, 1916 in Draper, and was the son of the late Etta Lyons Chumbley and Boyd Mac Chumbley, Sr.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Etta Sue Chumbley Mable C. Peterson and Nancy C. Harriman and a half-sister, Ruby Huddle Hurst; and two brothers, Clyde L. Chumbley and Eugene Walter (Big Horse) Chumbley.B.M. was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army, was a member of the Draper Ruritan Club and a friendly face at Hayden Electric where he worked for many years. He was an Elder of the Draper Christian Church (DOC), where he served as Superintendent of Sunday Schools and Board Chairman.He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mildred Chumbley of Pulaski, and many loving nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Levesque officiating. Interment will follow in the Draper Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. service time.
