Chrisley, Doris Hudson
Doris Elizabeth Hudson Chrisley, 73, of Pulaski, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2015, with her family by her side.
Born Feb. 5, 1942, in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late John Robert Hudson and Georgia Quesenberry Hudson. Doris was retired from Pulaski Furniture, with 30 years of service, and was a devoted member of Faith Bible Church in Pulaski for more than 25 years. She touched the lives of many during her time on Earth with her genuine kindness and contagious smile.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy Dunford and husband Ronnie of Draper, Va., Lisa McCroskey and husband Mike of Pembroke, Va., and Angela Fitzgerald and husband Teddy of Stuart, Va.; two sons, Johnny Chrisley and wife B.J. of Fairlawn, and Keith Chrisley of Pulaski; 12 grandchildren, Mikey Wolfe, Tawana Jones, Joe Hudson, David Hudson, Crystal “Christy” Jones, Kayla Crowder, Zack Wolfe, Shane Crowder, Houston Sheppard, Jenna Chrisley, Haley Sheppard and Jasmine Chrisley; three great-grandchildren, Evan, Sydney and Raelyn; sister Wanda McGlothlin and husband Johnny; and brothers Melvin Hudson and Vernon Hudson.
A funeral service honoring Doris’ life will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski, with Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour Thursday at the funeral home. A small graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 13, at Oakwood Cemetery in Pulaski, Pulaski.
