Cheatham, John Michael

John Michael Cheatham, 42, of 815 Bland Street, passed away on October 6, 2010 at his home in Pulaski, Va., after a courageous battle with lung cancer. John was born January 24, 1968, in Radford, Va. He proudly served his country for 18 years in the United States Army. John is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Cheatham. Those left to cherish John’s memory are his wife of 16 years, Kim Fisher Cheatham; daughters, Tamara and Victoria; son, Dakota; parents, John and Gay Cheatham; sisters, Melissa Chrisley and Christy Cheatham; father and mother-in-law, Edward and Joyce Fisher; brothers-in-law, Todd Chrisley, Darren and Lee Fisher, and Michael Taylor; nieces, Melanie and Makayla; and nephew, Justin. A covered dish memorial service will be held in John’s honor on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Bissett Park, Shelter #1, in Radford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in John’s honor at the Bank of America in Pulaski or Radford.
