Chason, Timothy John

Timothy John Chason, 53, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Chason; and uncle, Bob Edwards. He is survived by his mother, Sadie Grimes; brother, Jerry W. Chason; stepmother, Sally Chason; aunt, Janet Edwards; daughters, Samantha Brumfield and Jenny Norton; stepbrother, Jimmy Eells and family; stepsister, Brenda Earle and family; and four granddaughters, Emma, Kailey, Kaitlyn, and Kaycee.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2010, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg, Va., 540-552-3211.
