Chapman, Ella Leann

Ella Leann Chapman, 8 months old, of Christiansburg, Va., flew to heaven on the wings of angels on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Entering the world 13 weeks early on May 16, 2009, Ella touched more people then she had the privilege of meeting. She joins her greatgrandparents, Al and Frances Poff and W. Morris Phillips in Heaven; along with her grandmother, Sally Poff Phillips. Those left to cherish the memories of Ella are her Mother, Sara; Brother, Jared; her “Angel Dad,” Mike; her Nana, Freeda Phillips; MawMaw and PawPaw, Bob and Pat Bruce; two god mothers and uncles, Stephanie and Stephen Kilby, and Beth and Greg Blankenship; god father, Darrell Hamrick; uncle, John Hylton and his girlfriend, Melissa Wirt; and many other great-aunts, uncles and cousins. The family wishes to thank all the caring doctors and nurses at the UVA Children’s Hospital – NICU, along with the staff at Carilion Children’s Hospital NICU and PICU for they love, support and compassion during the past eight months.
