James William Chandler, 63, of Pulaski, died early Sunday January 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 14, 1946 in Pulaski and was the son of the late Emma Millirons Chandler and Robert Lee Chandler. He retired as a long-time employee of Pulaski Furniture, where his co-workers knew him as “Little Man”. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Davis Chandler of Pulaski; a daughter, Jamie Hatcher and her husband Lee of Christiansburg; a sister, Reba Crawford and her husband Jack of Pulaski; a half-brother, Carl Chandler and his wife Ola of Dublin. Also survived by a granddaughter, Briana Fields, and a grandson, Justin Hatcher. James was also known to all in the Little Creek section of Pulaski County as “Big Jim”. Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Chinault officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Millirons Cemetery in Little Creek. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
