Chandler, Emma Louella Millirons

Emma Louella Millirons Chandler, 98, of Pulaski, Va., died Monday evening, November 17, 2008, in Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 10, 1910, in Bland County, and was the daughter of the late Estil Hoge Millirons and Ella Augusta Akers Millirons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Chandler. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Reba and Jack Crawford, of Pulaski; a son and daughterin-law, James and Elaine Chandler, of Pulaski; one stepson, Carl Chandler and his wife, Ola, of Dublin; one granddaughter, Jamie Hatcher and her husband, Lee, of Christiansburg; and two greatgrandchildren, Briana Fields and Justin Hatcher, of Christiansburg.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Weston Guthrie and the Rev. Earnest Chinault officiating. Interment will follow in the Millirons Church Cemetery (Little Creek Section) of Pulaski County.
