Chambers, James Stanley

James “Lefty” Stanley Chambers, age 50, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Martinsville, VA. Born October 3, 1971, in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Danny and Nancy Sowers Chambers. James was employed by Industrial Floor Systems for many years. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Keith and Carolyn Bradley. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Stephanie Bradley Chambers; daughter, Bailey Chambers; son, Bradley Chambers; two sisters, Tammie Baker and husband Paul of Pearisburg, VA, and Anna McCroskey and husband Jim of Rich Creek, VA; one brother, D.J. Chambers and wife Jill of Christiansburg, VA; sister-in-law, Christina Collins and husband Kenny of Peterstown, WV; aunt, Debbie Lucas and husband Willy of Narrows, VA; grandfather-in-law, Harry Brown of Rich Creek, VA; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Jay Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, WV. Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
