Chafin, Lois Stewart

Lois Stewart Chafin, 69, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, November 3, 2008, at her home after a lengthy illness. The daughter of the late Harry P. and Mary S. Stewart, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gilbert W. Chafin; three sons, Mike Chafin, California, Barry Chafin, Roanoke, Stuart Chafin, Christiansburg; sisters, Bertie Lawson, Daisy Lawson and Lou Jones, all of Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008, at the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren with Pastor Don Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
