Virginia Flanagan Cecil, 94, of Dublin, Va., died on Monday, August 30, 2010, at Carrington Place of Wytheville. She was born on October 11, 1915, in Wythe County, and was the daughter of the late Nannie Beasley Flanagan and C. Perry Flanagan. She was a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Cecil; a sister, Ruby Roseberry; and four brothers, Bernie Flanagan, Garfield Flanagan, Clayton Flanagan, and Rudolph (Bud) Flanagan. She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Agee and her husband, Jackie, of Bland; two sisters, Alma Myers and her husband, Carl Rudolph, of Pulaski, and Ina McGrady, of Hillsville; a sister-in-law, Joy Flanagan, of Woodlawn; two grandchildren, Jessica Craig and her husband, Kevin, of Waxhaw, N.C., and Cody Agee, of Bland; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Rowland and the Rev. Tim McGrady (nephew) officiating. Interment will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010, in the Dublin Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6 until the 7 p.m. service time, and at other times at the home of Carl Rudolph and Alma Myers, 617 6th Street, NW, Pulaski.
