Cecil, Marie Quesenberry

Marie Quesenberry Cecil, age 84 of Pulaski, died Wednesday morning February 13, 2008 in Pulaski Community Hospital.

She was born June 24, 1923 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Blanche Shepherd Quesenberry and Earnest Quesenberry.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer K. “Boyd” Cecil , a daughter, Brenda Cecil Grubb, a son, Kyle Duane Cecil, sisters, Bonnie Hughett, Mary Eversole, Nancy Quesenberry, a brother, Earnest Quesenberry, and a granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Grubb.

She is survived by a daughter;  Sharon M. Kerns and her husband Jesse of Pulaski, 7 grandchildren, Monique Adkins of Pulaski, Jesse K. Kerns of Christiansburg, Tangela Akers of Pulaski, Melissa Delph of Pulaski, Lori King of Pulaski, Jason Grubb of Fairfax, and Jessica Hamblin of Salem, and 11 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating.  Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
