Carter, Bertha Virginia

Bertha Virginia (Jenny) Carter, 43, of Pulaski, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 12, 2007. She was born March 17, 1963.

Surviving are a daughter, Kayla; her parents, Melvin and Peggy Carter; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Cindy Carter, Ronnie and Carmella Carter, Russell Carter and James Carter; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Velvet C. and Allen Duncan, Rhonda C. and Roger Carroll, Susan C. and Billy Duncan, Christiana Carter; two aunts, Mevalene Lucas and Lula Carter; numerous nieces and nephews; and her fianc?, Wayne Younce.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. T. Michael Bond and the Rev. Cameron Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Carter Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
