Carroll, Roger Lee

On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, Roger Carroll, 65, of Christiansburg, VA went home to be with his Family. His passing was very sudden and unexpected. He was preceded in death by his parents, Etta and Robert, Special Aunt Allene Phillips, and Son in law Danny Ramey Jr.

Roger was born in Montgomery County, VA to Etta and Robert Lee Carroll. He grew up with 4 amazing siblings, Robert (Virginia) Carroll, Wanda Carroll, Anita Carroll and baby brother Randall Carroll.

He had a passion for all football, especially the Hokies, collecting rare coins, NASCAR (When it was still good) and baseball cards. He retired from VA Tech and worked with a great group of people at Collegiate Suites/ Hunters Ridge before he passed.

Roger leaves behind many people that loved and admired him. Brothers Robert (Virginia) Carroll of Richmond VA and Randall Carroll of Christiansburg VA Sisters, Wanda Carroll and Anita Carroll both of Christiansburg, Ex-Wife and special friend Susan Carroll of Christiansburg, Daughter Mandi Ramey of Christiansburg, Grandchildren; Eerin (Joseph) Jacobs, Austin (Katelynn) Ramey and Ashlee Ramey, Great granddaughter Olivia Ramey, Son Joshua (Jamie) Carroll of Christiansburg, Grandchildren, Demetrios Carroll, Jackson Carroll, Dominic, Evie and Vincent and many very special Nieces and Nephews.

Due to COVID 19 there will not be any services held for him at this time. However, a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, any donations for his family should be made to Horne Funeral Home.
