Y. Davis of Blacksburg; Felix Carrera of Charlottesville; Maria Carrera, her husband Corey Fayman of San Diego, CA.

She taught in the same one room school house she attended as a child and served as librarian with Arlington Public Libraries. A dedicated volunteer for mental health and adult literacy, she seemed happiest when busy with gardening projects at home, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, and at The Center for the Science of Spirituality. For the past 6 years, she has been grateful for the opportunity to create spaces for conversation, contemplation and meditation in the campus woods outside her door at Showalter Center.
