Carr, Charlie Milton

Charlie Milton Carr, age 40 of Roanoke, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital in Richmond. He was born on March 11, 1982 in Montgomery County, VA, and is the son of Linda Sue Nester Carr and the late Randolph Preston Carr.

Charlie was a computed tomographer, and was an avid bowler in his spare time, achieving many perfect scores.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister: Constance Anne Carr. He is survived by his loving wife, Mindy Carr of Roanoke: his son; Landry S. Carr of Roanoke, and his mother, Linda Sue Nester Atkinson of Roanoke, and his beloved pets that meant so much to Charlie. They are Willow and Aspen, female goldendoodles. Amy Carr and Shane Carr cousins but more like sister and brother. Special friend Shelia Pugh.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family asks, that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to help with Charlie’s final expenses, as Charlie had been in the hospital some eight months.
