Carico, Dallas Everette

Dallas Everette Carico, 79, of Draper, went to be with our Lord, May 19, 2005. Dallas served in the Army/Air Corp during World War II. A Virginia Tech alumni, he was the president and owner of Fort Chiswell Construction from 1966 to 1995. He was a partner of the Draper Valley Golf Club. Dallas was a member of the Draper Valley Presbyterian Church.

He was a gracious and loving husband and father who is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Hill Carico; five children, Thesa Spraker, Tijuana Odum, Duane Carico of Max Meadows, Dallas Carico of South Carolina and Cara Lyles of Maryland; nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, one great grandchild and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Draper valley Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
