Carder, Axtell Wilson

Axtell Wilson Carder, 83, of Blacksburg, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at the V A Medical Center, Salem, Va. He was born in Pt. Pleasant, W.Va. on May 23, 1932 to the late Orton Harrison and Chloie Wilson Carder.

He was also preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. Mr. Carder was a veteran of the Korean War and an auditor for General Motors.

He is survived by his wife, Polly H. Carder.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Scott West officiating.
