Carden, Kathleen Leenora

Kathleen Leenora Carden, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gratton and Mary Carden; and brother, Claud Carden. She worked as a live-in caregiver for several families in the New River Valley area. She is survived by special friends, Mary Peterman, Ruth Boothe, Louise Collins and Opal Nixon. There will be a Graveside Service at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2011, at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, with Mr. Grover Nixon conducting the service.
