Carden Jr., Stanley

Stanley Carden Jr., 79, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007, in Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.

He was a retired police officer with the Radford University Police Department.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth S. Carden of Christiansburg; two sons, Larry D. Carden and Danny L. Carden, both of Christiansburg and one sister, Dorothy C. Sowers of Radford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
