amem_redrose.jpgCynthia Jane Richardson Cantrell, age 48, of Wytheville, formerly of Pulaski went to her heavenly home Sunday morning Oct. 30, 2005. Born Jan. 17, 1957 in Orange, Va., she was the daughter of the late Roy Earl Richardson, Sr. and Lucille Scott Richardson.

Two brothers, William Thomas and Alton Thomas also preceded her in death. Those she left behind to cherish her memory include: one daughter, Kimberly Kemp, Wytheville; one granddaughter, Heather Vereen; one grandson, Trevon Baltazar; nine sisters, Cleita Carter, Max Meadows, Rita Thomas, Hagersville, Md., Chris Bingman, Mount Airy, N.C., Pauline Thomas Freeman, Sherrill Thomas, Della Cole, Donna Hall, all of Pulaski, Jeannette Dickerson, Jennifer Hall, both of Dublin; four brothers, Robert “Bobby” Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Kenneth Richardson, all of Max Meadows, Chester Richardson, Aurora, Col.; special niece, Casey Freeman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 p.m. until service time. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Cemetery.
