canaday_randolph_deanRandolph Dean (Randy) Canaday, 68, of Radford, Va., passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the Radford Church of Christ and was retired from Wades Foods. Survivors include his wife, Anita Martin Canaday, of Radford; three sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy Dean and Judy Canaday, Riner, Gregory Martin and Meg Canaday, Pembroke, and Brian Allen and Sloan Canaday, Richmond; daughter, Kristy Leigh Canaday, Radford; sister, Shelby Jean Stokes, Salem; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Dakota, Jeremy, Tyler, Caden, Joshua, Hannah and Cameron. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at the Radford Church of Christ with Mr. John Croft officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford, where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct Military Graveside Rites. Flowers will be appreciated or contributions may be made to the Radford Church of Christ, P.O. Box 3632, Radford, Va. 24141. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010, at the Radford Church of Christ.
