Campbell, Travis Fletcher

Travis Fletcher Campbell, 25, of Blacksburg, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009. He is survived by his father, Jeffrey Reid Campbell; mother, Mary Wood Campbell; brother, Tyler Logan Campbell; grandfather, Dr. H.C. Wood; grandmother, Barbara S. Campbell; uncles, Clifford Wood, Scott Campbell, Craig Campbell; aunts, Barbara Janusz, Susan Day, and Catherine Shaeffer; and numerous other family members and friends. Travis was an Eagle Scout at age 15, graduated from Colonial Forge High School in Stafford, Va., Summa Cum Laude, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Virginia Tech from which he received an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. A memorial service will be conducted at 5p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at the McCoy Funeral Home at 150 Country Club Drive, in Blacksburg, 540-552-3211.

“Where are you going my little one, little one? Where are you going my baby, my own? Turn around and you’re two, turn around and you’re four, turn around and you’re a young man going out of the door…” Travis gentle soul will be loved through eternity.
