Campbell, Marion Gray

Marion Gray Campbell, 67, of Pearisburg, Va., passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Carilion Giles Community Hospital, Pearisburg, Va. Born on April 6, 1944, at Dry Pond, W.Va., he was the son of the late Cecil Elvin and Pansy May Dillon Campbell.

Marion retired from the Celanese Corporation after 36 years of service. He was also well known for being mechanically gifted.

Survivors include one son, Steven Campbell and wife, Linda Lea, of Conover, N.C.; three brothers, Roy Lee Campbell and wife, Joyce, of Ballard, W.Va., David Campbell and wife, Carol, of Christiansburg, Va., and Mason Campbell and wife, Peggy, of Roanoke, Va.; and one sister, Mary Ellen Lindsay and husband, Maurice, of Chesapeake, Va.

Funeral Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at the BroylesShrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Orchard Cemetery, Ballard, W.Va. Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
