Campbell Jr., Walker E.

Walker E. Campbell, Jr., 65, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Lakewood Ranch Hospital, Brandenton, Florida.

He was born and raised in Floyd, Virginia to the Late Walker Campbell, Sr. and Arlean Akers Campbell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank (Frankie) Campbell and nephew, Frank Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Garnett Brown Campbell; daughter, Tracey C. Underwood; two granddaughters, Maya and Kayla; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis Diane and Ray Cunningham; three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Harrison, Idella Brown, and Irie Jenkins; four aunts, Amelia A. Spencer, Adelaide Campbell, Catherine Moore, and Fannie Turner, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

In recognition and celebration of Walker’s life a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007, 1 p.m. at the Washington Dulles Airport Hilton Hotel & Conference Center, 13869 Park Center Road, Herndon, Virginia 20171.
