Callahan, Jolene Denise

Jolene Denise Callahan, age 45 of Pulaski, Va. departed this life on June 16, 2007 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 22, 1962 in Pulaski, the daughter of the late Pernell Callahan and Captolia Lottier Callahan. Jolene was a member of First Baptist Church, Magazine Street, Pulaski. She was a 1981 graduate of Pulaski County High School. She is preceded in death by her father Pernell Callahan, grandmothers, Stella Lottier and Edna Patterson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Leslie Sharee Carson; her mother, Captolia L. Callahan, Pulaski; one brother, Pernell Callahan, Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn.; four sisters, Sandra Marchbanks, Knoxville, Tenn.; Tracy Winfield of Richmond, Renee Callahan of Christiansburg and her baby sister April Callahan of Pulaski.

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 21 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Magazine Street, Pulaski with the Reverend William J. Smith, Jr. officiating. The Eulogy will be given by Reverend D. L. Callahan. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Pinehurst Cemetery. Penn?s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
