Caldwell, Jr., Ernest Hudson

Ernest Hudson “PeeWee” Caldwell, Jr., 90, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born January 16, 1933 to the late Ernest Hudson Caldwell, Sr.. and Annie Bell Caldwell.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hope Miles Caldwell and two brothers, James Kent Caldwell and Emmett Allen Caldwell.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Thelma Bailey Collins and Mildred “Mickey” Caldwell Shepherd and many nieces and nephews.

He had a special niece Gala Shepherd Price and many special friends including; Butch Franklin, Gail and Early Poff, Chad Cannon, his trucker friends, and the Hardee’s gang. And the most special of all was his beloved dog Sammy.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Jube Burke officiating
