Byrd, Christine Bevil

Christine Bevil Byrd, 69, of Draper, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014. She was a member of Faith Bible Church and retired office manager at Hudson Chevrolet.

Survivors include her husband Charles G. Byrd, Jr. of Draper; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Sabrena Dalton of Draper; stepsons, Perry Byrd and C. G. Byrd, both of Jacksonville, NC; sisters and brother-in-law, Jean and Pete Caravas of Portsmouth, Barbara Cook of Wirtz, and Irene Blankenship of Pulaski; brother, James Roy Bevil of Christiansburg; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Faith Bible Church in Pulaski with Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
