Butterworth, George Lynwood

George Lynwood Butterworth, 83, of Christiansburg VA, passed away Saturday September 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and his trusted dog, Mack, following a courageous 10 year battle dealing with complications from a stroke.

George is survived by a son, Terry Butterworth of Christiansburg, VA; his 3 grandchildren, Megan Butterworth (Brandon) Stanardsville, VA, Nicholas Butterworth (Amy) Boise, Idaho, and Alec Butterworth (Samantha) Barboursville, VA; his great grandchildren London Amelia, Madelyn Rose, Archer Grey, Alec Cade and Fiona James; a special niece Star Bolling; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm, at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Christiansburg, VA, and burial will follow. Rev. Neal Turner will be officiating.
